Content Manager – Online
This is a new role in a Start-Up division of a Large Financial Firm in NYC. This is an opportunity to work in a large-scale environment and work for a business that is evolving and so will this role. I think that someone who succeeds in this role will go very, very far in this organization. Help this firm take the “plunge” into an area that Financial Service Firms have not gone to yet - but good Community Managers have!!!!
1. Vendor Management
a. Engage appropriate vendors based on overall site direction and strategy
b. Manage internal Vendor Management process
2. Content Management
a. Administration of Search engine internally, external search management optimization
b. Administration of Content Management tool and all inherent workflows
c. Analysis of feedback from site feedback tool and from Client Support desk
3. Distribution
a. Determine alignment of all new content throughout the site
b. Strategize layout, navigation and general information access
4. Release Management
a. Manage the release calendar and schedule
b. Engage all relevant groups (Tech, architecture, vendors etc)
c. Ensure training documentation and marketing is updated and distributed
5. New Requirements
a. Work with Service owners to ensure new requirements are written and distributed
b. Engage with UAT to ensure QA of new releases, bug management, manage UAT
c. Strategize new content
