Location: Dallas, Texas
Slingshot Advertising is on the hunt for a seasoned leader to drive the web-user experience to meet our client’s business objectives. You will blend strategic business thinking with a superior knowledge of emerging technologies to construct all aspects of information architecture and interface design. You’ll be called upon to be a futurist, a strategist, a usability guru, and an industry thought leader.
You’ll need:
o Proven ability to champion a user-centric design process
o Strong leadership skills—is able to motivate and direct a team as well as be a strong individual contributor
o A seasoned presenter with a knack
for written communication in public
forums
o Experience in business analysis to include the development and adherence to business requirement documents
o Usability testing and facilitation skills
o Advanced knowledge of architecture software programs (e.g. Visio, Inspiration, Illustrator, etc.) and proficiency in MS Visio, Adobe Photoshop & Acrobat.
o Prototyping capabilities in HTML, CSS
o Experience with rich-media storyboarding and interaction design for Flash or AJAX-based applications
o User-research and testing methods including focus groups, usability testing and survey design
o A portfolio including functional designs and/or UI Specifications
o Minimum five years direct experience in in
formation architecture and experience design required including knowledge of IA and design processes and methodology
o Minimum BA/BS degree in Library Science, Psychology, Human Factors, Fine Arts or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
