Location:
IVillage.co.uk, the
UK’s leading website for women, is looking for a
dynamic Head of Community to cover a minimum ten month maternity
contract.You must have extended experience of managing an online community. A
passion for, and experience in, women orientated forums is preferable.
You will be responsible for the smooth running of the site’s message
boards and social network, for motivating and monitoring our 250
volunteer Community Leaders, for tackling technical problems, dealing with customer service issues and ensuring the continued growth of our communities.
In addition you must have proven experience in handling major product upgrades and migrations, and communicating changes to a large audience. An eye for a story and experience in working with editorial teams on inter-department initiatives is also required.
This is a challenging but rewarding position that requires a nerve of
steel, a heart of gold and the patience of a saint! This is a full time position based in our central
London offices.
