ONLINE MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS - VP
These positions are with a “Start-Up” within a very large Financial Firm in NYC. All positions are brand new.
The Online Marketing and Communications, Vice President, role will manage the day to day evolution of the dot com experience with an immediate focus on transitioning microsite to the Beta site and then eventually to public launch and beyond. This person will be the lead on key aspects of the .com experience around help and support, e-mail capture and dialogue.
The VP will be the primary day to day contact with the Agency Partner and the Online Delivery Team to ensure all timelines are adhered and all critical deliverables are on schedule. Additionally, the VP will work closely with Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Customer Service to ensure all stakeholders have active input in the development and implementation process. Some of the key day to day responsibilities include:
- Project management across a broad set of initiatives with critical time to market deliverables. Immediate focus on remaining project iterations to launch the Beta experience in late 2008.
- Microsite and Invitation Strategy to build buzz and member engagement prior to larger dot com roll-out.
- Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing strategy. Determining how this fits in the broader marketing strategy driven by the dotcom Marketing Team.
- Help and support strategy to ensure superior customer service experience.
- E-mail capture strategy and capabilities to grow a critical touchpoint for all future marketing and servicing communications. Includes a position on what content should be sent via the e-communications channel.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- 7 – 10+ years of relevant work experience in interactive marketing and capability development. Preferably a depth of experience across .com, e-mail, and mobile.
- MBA preferred
- Proven track record of delivering results – tactical and strategic
- Strong understanding of financial products across a broad range of segments – wealth management / investment, banking, card, and insurance.
- Depth of experience in translating business requirements / needs into understandable and actionable steps with technology organizations.
- Agency experience a plus.
