Location: Austin, TX
The Quality Assurance Engineer will become familiar with Small World Labs’ hosted software platforms and will ensure clients receive high-quality product implementations. Some technical experience is required. Successful applicants will be detail oriented and able to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Ensure new SWL site implementations adhere to client specifications and function properly.
- Perform regression testing of existing implementations prior to new code releases.
- Test and give feedback on new platform features and client feature requests.
- Expand upon existing QA procedures, such as testing scripts and release processes.
- Continually work with the Accounts and Implementation teams to improve all QA processes.
- Develop automated testing scripts
- Employ strong communication skills, both written and oral, to facilitate communication between development teams, accounts team, and clients.
The QA Engineer will work closely with the development team to ensure on-time delivery of projects.
Knowledge of / familiarity with:
- HTML
- CSS
- Web standards
Desirable but not required:
- PHP
- SQL
