The Senior Manager, Content and Community role, sits within the consumer and hosted services division of Adobe. We are growing an entrepreneurial team that is aggressive, nimble and can thrive in a fast paced environment. This position will drive the content creation, acquisition and publishing strategy for the services offered within the Photoshop franchise, as well as establish the voice of our offering in the community. Responsibilities include developing overall content development calendar and publication strategy within the consumer services business. This will encompass developing web marketing campaigns (banners/ads/search engine) to drive customer acquisition, retention and up-selling, as well as managing email and in-product communications, web content and in box programs. The position will also manage our in-house copy writer, designer and community manager and will need to ensure content being created is meeting brand and customer segment communication guidelines and is being delivered and executed on time and on strategy.Responsibilities· Define the customer contact strategy including business goals and objectives and plan to meet customer acquisition, retention and up-selling targets· Manage, augment and refine the customer contact strategy and plan based on business rules and objectives· Develop and manage the editorial calendar and schedule for publishing content across target audiences and services · Clearly define the content publishing requirements of the business and interface with the development team to ensure the content publishing system meets the requirements· Oversee campaigns or communication deliverables through the production stage to completion, including performance reporting· Ensure the content being produced o is on brand, the right tone of voice and is delivering on stated marketing and business objectives – and where appropriate acquire relevant content· Report on quarterly plans and performance to the executive management · Be metrics-driven and be able to alter or refine content strategy or publication plan based on direct marketing performance metrics as well as insights into customer profile· Implement Search Engine Optimization best practices in content being created· Supervise and provide direction to the copywriter and designer to create campaigns that are on strategy and drive active use by customer target/segments· Hire and supervise the community manager and define the role of the manager as it pertains to the various target audience segments of the Photoshop franchise· Develop strategy and plan for driving community engagement, participation and user to user interaction· Ensure community forums are being moderated · Utilize existing in-product and triggered messaging systems to ensure delivery of messages and identify development needs for improving our capabilities· Manage localization and expansion to other regions as neededRequirements· Must have at-least 3 years experience as a manager of a creative team and have strong leadership and team building skills· At least 5 years experience in an intensive direct marketing content publishing program at an on-line consumer service organization· Results-driven, organized, self-motivated, flexible, team player and can work under tight deadlines and budgets· Experience with one or more internet-centric Content Management Systems· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· 2 years Search Engine Optimization or Search Engine Marketing related work experience Education:
· Bachelors degree or higher. MBA preferred
