Posting open job positions on the site is easy. Register (or login), create a new entry and save it. It’s really that simple. There’s no fees, no strings, no hidden surprises. Nada. Nicht.
There are, however, a few basic ground rules for participation.
- Community Jobs Only - Seriously, this should be obvious, but just in case… jobs posted to this Job Board should be limited to those that somehow involve online/offline community building, social media, community management, community moderation, etc.
- Individuals Only! - The intent of the site is to bring people interested in full-time employee status type work together with employers offering such things. No consulting, contracting, or third-party services. If you’re one of those types of people, fantastic (I am too!). Just find another way to reach out to your audience… I don’t want employers here to feel spammed because of their participation.
- Use your descriptors - Do yourself a favor and create a job description with details. Lots and lots of details. It helps candidates understand the position which helps your inbox.
- Close it out when filled - Did you hire a stunning new community person? Great news! Now close out your job opening so you stop getting emails!
The site will be heavily moderated and/or edited so if you have objections to any moderation actions or edits just drop a line and complain. We promise to take you seriously if you’re nice.
