I am an expert in building and growing online communities, looking to connect with people who need my services. I have been using online communities since the usenet days, and have participated as a user in dozens of user communities.
I also built the user community at my previous employer from the ground up. This included selecting the community platform, installing and testing the features, implementing security, moderating and facilitating discussions, and marketing the community to the customers. The community grew to 300,000 registered users in three years, partly due to the strong platform and policies, and partly due to the loyal fan base of the software company.
