Running a site called “Community Guy”, I’ve gotten a great many requests for help over the years from both employers looking for community people and community people looking for employers. Add to that the fact that several of my existing clients are now asking me to help them with their job searches and I decided something had to be done.
I’d like to formally announce the launch of a new CommunityGuy.com Jobs portal –
This portal serves two functions & audiences:
- Employers – a collection of community-oriented job openings
- Job Seekers – a place where people interested in getting a job doing …uh… “community stuff”
It’s 100% free, signup is easy and quick, so go to town!
(Feedback is much appreciated, and I’ll be tweaking quite a bit in the next few days and weeks)

Jake, neat site. you might want to tweak the job listings. the first company who posted doesn't have a clear link to their homepage, or their name for that matter (might have missed that). Other than that I think its a great idea. best of luck with it!

Found your site looking for ideas to improve my job board. Good looking portal, but short on job listings. Feel free to critique my site: www.jobdummy.com. -Pete

Pete, thanks for stopping by. Yes, since the site literally just launched today, the content is indeed thin. Hopefully that changes. Of course, since the board is meant to focus on one type of job (community and social media), it'll likely always be smaller than many others out there. And that's OK.
